Tottenham football chief Fabio Paratici is eyeing Monaco midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly.
The Daily Mail says Paratici is planning to focus much of his transfer strategy on young upcoming talent and those on dwindling contracts.
And among the targets are Coulibaly, who will be 18 in April and is out of contract at the end of the season.
Paratici has declared a strong interest in Coulibaly, one of the most highly-rated players of his age-group in France and an Under-18 international.
Monaco want to extend his contract but he is attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs across Europe.
Paratici, Tottenham's managing director of football, has good connections in the French market.
