Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is delighted to be signing permanently with Olympique Marseille.
OM president Pablo Longoria has announced Guendouzi has played enough games to trigger the permanent option in his loan arrangement.
Guendouzi told RMC: "It's a well-considered choice. There were very good discussions with the president, the coach, people in my family. It's the best choice I've made in many years.
"It had started a little before the transfer window. Today, I am very happy and fulfilled here. I always had the mentality of wanting to play, win, in training and in matches.
"I arrived very young in England, I still have a lot to learn. I have matured a lot, which means that I have flourished here."
