Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill admitted frustration after their defeat to Norwich City.

The result was a heavy blow to the Clarets' survival hopes.

Brownhill said, "It's very tough to take, I'm gutted after that. It was a game where we thought we could come here and get three points, especially after the other night, but we weren't good enough today, especially in front of goal.

“We've got to take a look at ourselves, put those chances away and not concede so early on.

“There's eight big games left to get us out of the position that we're in, so we'll analyse this then go into the next game and give a good performance."

“I don't think that we're shy of creating a lot of chances and sometimes we do put them away like the other night against Everton, but today wasn't that way.

“I take some responsibility myself, I had a few good chances which I could've put away, so it's frustrating to look back on.

“We've got to look forward to the next eight games now, eight big games. We'll go out there and work hard."
