The Academic Excellence Award Ceremony for the session 2025–26 was organised at GEMS Cambridge International School, Hoshiarpur, managed by Vasal Education. Students from Grade I to Grade XI were honoured for their outstanding academic performance in the previous session. Shipra Sharma, Deputy Director – Branding and Career Counselling at Vasal Education, was the chief guest. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a ‘Saraswati Vandana’ dance performance. During the ceremony, 257 meritorious students who secured 90 per cent and above marks were honoured. Additionally, 39 students of Class X were specially felicitated for scoring above 90 per cent in board examinations, while six students received the Progressive Award for consistent improvement and hard work. Asmi Verma of Class IX impressed the audience with a recitation of the poem “Koshish Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahin Hoti” by Sohan Lal Dwivedi. The school band also presented the motivational song, “Aashayein”. Parents appreciated the efforts of the school team in shaping students’ success. Principal Sangeeta Nistandra presented mementoes to the meritorious students.
