The agent of River Plate starlet Claudio Echeverri has revealed he's passed his medical with Manchester City.
Enzo Mentepaeone confirmed a deal was agreed with City last week and has now offered a fresh update.
"The operation is 99% completed. He has already undergone medical examinations, the announcement will be made in the next few days," he told Radio La Red.
Echeverri will stay on-loan with River for six months before joining City in the summer.
A decision will then be made about whether he stays with City or is loaned to LaLiga partners Girona.
