SANDAKAN: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick proposed the construction of a Rest and Recreation (R&R) area at Mile 32, here, saying it was for the convenience of road users and local traders, particularly small entrepreneurs.
The identified area is located near the Agro Bazaar and will serve as a one-stop hub with various facilities.
AdvertisementHe clarified that this R&R is not part of the Pan Borneo Highway construction but its establishment will serve as an R&R hub and a one-stop rest area for users with related facilities.
He made the statement during a press conference after officiating the Eye-Dotting Ceremony on Lion’s Head in Libaran in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration at Bandar Utama, Mile 6, on Tuesday, which was organised by Libaran Sabah Entrepreneurs Cooperative Berhad.
