Alison Hammond has confirmed she is “home and safe” after suffering what turned out to be a panic attack during a live broadcast of This Morning on Friday (2 October).
The presenter, 51, had been rushed for medical attention after experiencing heart palpitations on camera, leaving co-host Dermot O'Leary to continue the show alone.
Following checks on her heart, lungs and blood at the NHS, all results came back clear. Addressing fans on social media, Hammond said: "It felt very real to me. I'm really new to panic attacks, so I need to learn more about it."
