BN's Mustapha Nagoor secures resounding victory in Palong with 13,702 vote majority

SHAH ALAM – Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Mustapha Nagoor, affectionately known as Pak Mus, secured a dominant victory in the Palong seat during the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election today.

Mustapha successfully retained the seat for the coalition after garnering a decisive 13,702 vote majority.

According to the Election Commission (EC), Mustapha polled 15,197 votes to comfortably clear the field in a three-cornered contest.

His primary challenger, Zahin Zinal or or known as Bong representing Pakatan Harapan (PH), came in second with 1,495 votes.

Meanwhile, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) candidate Rebin Birham finished third, managing to secure 590 votes.
