RANAU: A 10-year-old boy was injured while eight vehicles were destroyed in a house fire, near here, Thursday.
Ranau District Fire Station Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said the incident occurred in Kg Rapak around 11am.
AdvertisementHe said a team managed to reach the location, about 3km away, at 11.04am after being alerted.
“The fire was at its height when we reached the location,” he said.

Read more “The house was completely razed, and the fire also damaged four vehicles and four motorcycles.
“The boy was reported to have sustained a gash while escaping the inferno, but to what extent we have yet to ascertain,” he added.

He said the blaze was brought under control at 11.30am and completely doused by 1.57pm.
