Germany left back Nathaniel Brown, who missed the 2-1 loss to Ecuador due to an adductor injury, again sat out training on Friday.
The session was held for those who did not start Thursday's defeat. Germany had already qualified for the last 32 from top spot in Group E, but were deservedly beaten.
David Raum replaced Brown against Ecuador but struggled.
Germany play their first knock-out round match in Foxborough on Monday against a third-placed team from another group.
