MANILA, Philippines — University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons open hitter Casiey Dongallo sustained an ACL injury on her left knee, forcing her to miss the remainder of the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament.
The UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development announced the news Saturday.
Dongallo sustained the injury last Sunday in the first set against the FEU Lady Tamaraws, landing badly on the mat.
Dongallo and the Fighting Maroons went on to lose the match, 13-25, 21-25, 16-25.
