MANILA, Philippines — The UST Golden Tigresses claimed their second straight win after blanking the FEU Lady Tamaraws, 25-17, 25-18, 25-20, in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena Saturday.
UST improved to 4-3, breaking from a 3-way tie with UP and Adamson for a share of third place with FEU.
Angge Poyos fired 16 points and logged nine excellent receptions and four digs to lead the Tigresses.
Regina Jurado aided Poyos with 10 points including the clincher.
Gerzel Petallo pumped nine points, 11 receptions, and six digs for FEU before leaving the match due to an arm injury.
