Skipper Arjun Azad scored his second ton to help Capital Strikers log a comfortable 54-run victory over Royal Titans in the Chandigarh Premier League 2026, being played at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector 3, Panchkula.
Azad posted 108 off 50 balls, studded with 10 boundaries and seven sixes as Strikers’ amassed 242/3 in 20 overs. He shared crucial partnerships with Gurtaj Singh, who remained unbeaten on 71 off 41 balls and Surya Narayan Yadav, who posted 34.
In reply, Titans lost wickets at regular intervals, but Amrit Lal Lubana and Ivraj Ranauta scored unbeaten contributions. Mridul Chawla and Sanchit Sahu ensured the side played till the last ball, but managed only 188/6.
On Saturday evening, Manan Vohra led from the front with a 96 off 57 balls as HIIMS Hawks registered eight-wicket victory over Chandigarh Kings. Batting first, Kings posted 160/8 in 20 overs with Shivam Bhambri (47) and Arnav Bansal (41) scoring important contributions.
In reply, Hawks chased down the target in 17.4 overs with Vohra hitting six boundaries and six sixes, while Nikhil scored an unbeaten 44.
