MANILA, Philippines — A complaint was filed with the Presidential Complaint Center at Malacañang on Friday against Health Secretary Brix Pujalte for allegedly gambling at major casinos.
The complaint was filed by some “concerned citizens,” claiming that Pujalte was seen gambling at Okada Manila and Solaire Resort & Casino under the aliases "Louis Santos" and "Louiss Santos" to avoid public recognition.
The group argued that his actions directly violated Presidential Decree 1869, which prohibits government officials and employees from playing or staying inside casinos.
The Manila Times is trying to get in touch with Pujalte for his reaction.
