Complete Creamline downs Choco Mucho to claim first win in PVL All-Filipino Conference

MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers asserted their dominance over sister team Choco Mucho Flying Titans, securing their first win in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) in front of a crowd of 12,600 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

 

Since 2019, Creamline has won 19 of its 20 encounters with Choco Mucho, showcasing its superiority in the rivalry.

Bernadeth Pons showed an all-around performance of 19 points, along with 13 digs, and 18 excellent receptions to lift the Cool Smashers. 

Pangs Panaga added 12 points, while Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza, both chipped in 11 points. 

Jia De Guzman orchestrated 20 excellent sets in the match. 

“We are happy that we captured our first win in this conference. Hopefully, we will continue to win and get our rhythm inside the court,” head coach Sherwin Meneses told the media after the game. 

Eya Laure led the Titans with 19 points, but she was escorted out in the fourth frame after a discomfort on her right thigh. 

Sisi Rondina put up 15 points, while Lorraine Pecaña added 10 markers. 

Creamline improved to a 1-1 card, while Choco Mucho absorbed its second straight defeat (1-2).
