THE highly anticipated clash of Premier Volleyball League (PVL) sister teams and fan favorites Creamline Cool Smashers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the 2026 All-Filipino Conference is set on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

With the pink and purple squads showcasing a fortified lineup, a heated match is expected at 6:30 p.m.

Ten-time champion Creamline (0-1) will parade its complete and championship caliber lineup with the return of Jia de Guzman (Alas Pilipinas national team duties), Jema Galanza (injury), and Southeast Asian Games beach volleyball gold medalist Bernadeth Pons.

The trio will join forces with team stalwarts Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao, and Tots Carlos.

The Cool Smashers opened their All-Filipino campaign with a loss against the formidable PLDT High Speed Hitters last Thursday, where the Sherwin Meneses-mentored squad suffered a straight-set defeat, 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

Despite having a healthy and complete lineup, Creamline looked cold on the court and was still finding its groove, with only two players scoring in double digits.

Pons made a triple-double performance of 13 points, 11 digs and 10 receptions, while Carlos added 11 markers.

League’s eight-time best setter de Guzman is working her way to gel with the team as she tallied 12 excellent sets.

On Choco Mucho’s (1-1) side, SEA Games gold medalist Sisi Rondina served as the go-to offensive force as she returned with 16 points to propel her squad to victory against Akari. She also scored 20 points in four-set loss against Cignal.

Rondina is reunited with Eya Laure, her former University of Santo Tomas teammate who bolstered the Flying Titans’ wing rotation.

Choco Mucho last beat Creamline on April 30, 2024, at the PVL All-Filipino Conference. Since debuting in 2019, the Flying Titans have only managed to take one win against the Cool Smashers’ 18 in their head-to-head matchups.

Ahead of their awaited clash, Cignal (2-0) looks to pick up its third consecutive win against Farm Fresh (0-1).

Cignal will rely on Erika Santos’ offensive force while Farm Fresh will opt to activate Trisha Tubu more.
