
Kota Kinabalu: Crisnanalina Jumis, the viral young woman from Paitan who cannot register at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) for further studies due to financial constraints, arrived at the UMS campus to do so on Friday.
The university had arranged transportation for the 20-year-old, her mother and aunt to the campus and assisted with her registration.
UMS Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Kasim Md Mansur was also present to welcome her.
The Daily Express highlighted her plight, and she has since received various forms of assistance, including from Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.
