
KENINGAU: A man and his four-year-old daughter were killed when their Toyota Avanza collided with a Nissan Navara at Km16, Jalan Apin-Apin, here, Sunday.
Keningau Police Chief Supt Yampil Garai identified the deceased as Masino Gelong, 45, and Claeryina Mecthildis Masino, four.
“Masino’s wife Chelrina Philip, 33, and their four children Mattheo Charbel, 2, Mica Chelsino, 7, Charlene Myra, 9, and Camellia Mae, 11, were seriously injured,” he said in a statement, here.
Yampil said police were alerted about the accident at about 12.22am.

The father and child succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
