DAV Public School, New Shimla, won the winning team trophy for its exceptional performance during the Inter-School Junior Literary Fest “Expressions 2026”, hosted by Delhi Public School, Shimla, to celebrate creativity, confidence and expression among young learners.
The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation in various categories including spell bee, Hindi and English poetry recitation, prose recitation, just-a-minute (JAM), poster making and drama (Monologue).
Students showcased remarkable talent, imagination, language skills and stage presence. Special awards were presented to recognise outstanding performances.
Sanaya Singh Gazta from Loreto Convent Tara Hall was awarded best elocutionist (English), while Himanshi Thakur from Shimla Public School received best elocutionist (Hindi). Sourish Sharma from DAV Public School, New Shimla, was honoured as most promising speaker, Shivika from Saraswati Paradise School received courage in the face of adversity (JAM) award, and Aushadhi Singh from Auckland House School for Girls won best speaker award (Cave orator) – drama.
