
DAV International School, Amritsar, on Wednesday celebrated its students’ performance in the CBSE Class XII examinations (2025–2026 session). Principal Anjana Gupta said 298 students appeared for the examinations this year. Kashish Nischal emerged the school topper as well as the district topper, securing 99.6 per cent marks. Garima Arora and Pearl secured the second position in the school jointly with 98.2 per cent marks, while Sargun stood third with 97.8 per cent. Twenty students scored over 95 per cent marks, and 61 over 90 per cent.
One student each secured a perfect 100 marks in biology, political science, marketing, and geography. Additionally, two students scored 99 marks in music. The highest marks obtained in informatics practices, business studies, economics, mathematics, and history were 99. In chemistry and physics, the highest score was 98. Physical education recorded a highest score of 96.
Congratulating students, parents, and teachers, the principal said hard work was the key to reaching great heights in life. She attributed the achievement to consistent practice, dedication towards work, strong determination, and guidance provided by the teaching faculty.
She prayed for the continued success of the students.
