MANILA, Philippines — Classes at the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) in Manila were suspended on Tuesday, following a bomb threat in the campus.
Students were evacuated, following the threat, and synchronous classes were implemented following the suspension of face-to-face classes.
“The safety and well-being of our students, employees, and visitors remain our top priority. As a precautionary measure, the campus remains closed until further notice while appropriate assessments and necessary safety measures continue to be undertaken,” the college said in an advisory.
“Students, faculty, and staff are advised to monitor EAC Manila’s official communication channels for further announcements and updates,” it added.
The evacuation and suspension of classes followed bomb threats in University of Santo Tomas and the De La Salle University this week.
