EMAN Bacosa has made it clear he will not step into the ring against his brother, Jimuel, citing family over rivalry.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, the son of boxing icon Manny Pacquiao said such a matchup would go against their father’s wishes and his own principles.

“He’s my brother, and nothing good will come out of that fight, win or lose,” Eman said. “Of course, dad doesn’t want that. I don’t want to hurt him.”

Despite their paths in boxing, Eman emphasized their bond over competition, ending with a heartfelt message: “I really love you, Kuya!”

Eman has a 8-1-1 professional boxing record, while Jimuel is starting off his professional record at 1-0-1.

Jimuel is fresh off his first professional win earlier this month against Darrick Gates, while Eman’s last win was a knock-out against Reynold Kundimang, last Feb. 28.
