A FUGITIVE with an outstanding warrant of arrest for theft was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Friday.
The 25-year-old man reportedly became hostile when authorities confronted him for sleeping in the hallway beside an airline ticketing office on the third-level departure area.
The incident prompted the Aviation Security Group to seek assistance from NAIA Police Station 3.
Upon verification, the police discovered that the man had an outstanding warrant of arrest for theft issued on Oct. 19 by the Municipal Trial Court in Lipa City, Batangas, with bail set at P10,000.
The suspect is now in the custody of the Manila Police District.
