RANAU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) unveiled a unified, restructured leadership line-up for its Ranau division, placing Deputy Chief Minister II Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun at the helm as pro tem chief in a clear move to strengthen its organisation and grassroots reach ahead of the next general election.
The sweeping reorganisation covers all three state seats within the Ranau parliamentary constituency — Karanaan, Kundasang and Paginatan — and balances seasoned figures with fresh faces, including strengthened representation for youth and women.
Masidi is supported by deputy chief Datuk Amisah Yassin, vice-chief Johari Suhaimin, and secretary Samsul Amar Jaimin.
Mohd Sharin Mujin leads the Youth Movement, Jalisa Nasiri heads the Women’s Movement, and Norhajiah Ropotoh takes charge of the Beliawanis.
The party said the restructuring is designed to streamline operations, broaden community participation, and better align with the aspirations of residents across the vast constituency.
