The state government on Monday filed a reply in the discharge application moved by Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh in connection with the Ajnala police station attack case. Amritpal was produced through video-conferencing from the Dibrugarh Central Jail in Assam before the Amritsar court.
Today, the police contested that they have enough evidence against Amritpal. Harpal Singh Khara and Rituraj Singh, defence counsels, said the court would hear the arguments from tomorrow. The Punjab Police have filed a final 1,200 page challan against Amritpal in the case.
