KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) secretary-general Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the coalition’s partnership with Pakatan Harapan (PH) remains strong and mutually respectful as both sides prepare for the coming state election.

He said, after officiating the Third Borneo Vascular Conference on Friday, GRS and PH share a common goal of winning as many seats as possible by avoiding vote splitting that could weaken their joint prospects.

Masidi said discussions between both sides have been constructive and focused on ensuring victory rather than the allocation of seats.

He added that what PH does with Barisan Nasional (BN) at the federal level is their own arrangement and does not affect GRS.

Masidi said GRS’s main concern is maintaining cooperation with PH, adding that BN’s political direction is not their concern.
