
Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor received a courtesy visit from Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Sabah Contingent’s new leadership team at his office in Menara Kinabalu here on Tuesday.
Jauteh said the visit was aimed, among others, at introducing the new Sabah PDRM leadership team to the Chief Minister and strengthening relations and cooperation between the police and the State Government.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on security and public order, as well as issues concerning the interests of Sabah and its people.
Hajiji welcomed the visit and hoped that the close relationship and cooperation between the State Government and PDRM would continue to be strengthened to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people.
Also present were Sabah Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Mohd Azhar Hamin; Sabah Criminal Investigation Department Chief SAC Mohd Hafiz Yaacob; Sabah Logistics and Information Technology Department Chief ACP Wong Leong Meng; Sabah Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Chief Supt Yampil Anak Garai; and Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief ACP Shahrudin Mat Husain.
