Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor received a courtesy call from newly appointed Sabah Federal Secretary Datuk Zul Hadi Ahmad at his office in Menara Kinabalu, here, on Wednesday.
Zul Hadi, 57, assumed the post on Oct 16, succeeding Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab, who retired upon reaching the mandatory retirement age.
Before his appointment, Zul Hadi served as Agriculture Division Director at the Ministry of Economy and has 32 years of experience in economics, finance, policy and strategic planning.
Hajiji congratulated Zul Hadi on his appointment and expressed hope that he would strengthen ties and cooperation between the State and Federal Governments, particularly involving Federal departments and agencies in Sabah.
He said continued cooperation between the two governments was important to ensure smooth and effective policy coordination and implementation of development programmes and projects, while expressing hope that Zul Hadi would improve coordination, streamline the State’s development agenda and ensure the well-being of Sabahans remained a priority.
