Harry Kane gave a post-match interview worthy of England’s thrilling 3-2 win over Mexico, after losing his voice during raucous celebrations.
Speaking to the BBC’s Kelly Somers on the pitch after joining his teammates serenading fans with Wonderwall, the England captain’s voice repeatedly cracked and squeaked as he admitted “I can’t even talk”.
Back in the studio, the interview had the BBC panel in stitches, with host Kelly Cates describing it as a interview that would “go down in history” and pundit Wayne Rooney calling it “the best interview I’ve ever seen”.
