
Counting of votes for the various civic bodies in Haryana began on Wednesday morning at 8 am.
A total of 4,75,948 votes were cast out of 8,73,177 eligible voters in the urban local body elections across Ambala, Panchkula, Sonepat, besides the municipal council elections in Rewari and municipal committee polls in Dharuhera, Sampla and Uklana.
Ahead of the counting process, Panchkula Traffic Police have issued a special advisory from 5 am to 5 pm on May 13. The stretch from Valmiki Chowk to the Sector 14 Industrial Area Cut will remain closed to ensure smooth and secure counting arrangements.
