
MANILA, Philippines — Jordan Heading and Chris McCullough provided the spark as TNT dumped Barangay Ginebra, 106-98 to reduce the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup finals to a best-of-three affair on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The left-handed Heading dropped a team-high 29 points as the Tropang 5G led by as many as 92-74, thanks to a 15-4 exchange that all but snuffed the life out of the Gin Kings.
TNT tied the series, 2-2, pulling off the big win in front of 16,823 fans at the Big Dome.
Heading knocked down five triples and went on to add six rebounds and eight assists.
McCullough chipped in 24 markers and 14 rebounds while Jayson Castro added 14.
The loss spoiled Justin Brownlee and RJ Abarrientos’ big night as the duo were named Best Import and Best Player of the Conference, respectively prior to the start of Game 4.
Brownlee led the Gin Kings wirh 32 points, while Abarrientos had 21.
