Himachal Pradesh is set to witness a heavy spell of rain along with hail from today as the state’s Meteorological Centre has issued orange and yellow weather warnings for several districts of the state.

As per the centre, orange warning has been issued for Shimla, Mandi, Kullu, Kangra and Sirmaur districts for June 11, resulting in heavy spell of rain accompanied with hailstorm, lightning and gusty winds in isolated places of these districts. Apart from this, a yellow weather alert has also been issued for Solan, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Chamba districts. As a result, these districts will experience light to moderate thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds throughout the day.

Minimum temperature in Shimla is 19°C, Dharamsala 18.5°C, Solan 20°C, Kangra 23.6°C, Mandi 21.6°C, Sundernagar 22°C, Kufri 15.5°C, Kalpa 10.3°C, Una 22.6°C, Nahan 17.1°C, Chamba 18.9°C, Keylong 7°C, Paonta Sahib 26°C and Bhuntar 17.2°C.

Kukumseriey in Lahaul and Spiti was the coldest as it recorded 6.9°C minimum temperature.
