Inbetweeners sequel casts bride character for new Netflix film

• Marina Bye, the 33-year-old actor and daughter of comedian Ruby Wax, is set to make her debut in a third Inbetweeners feature film alongside original cast members Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley, and Blake Harrison.
• On-set photographs reveal Bye wearing a white wedding gown, confirming she plays a bride in the upcoming Netflix movie, although details regarding which of the four core characters will be the groom remain under wraps.
• Filming for the project reportedly commenced on 7 September, with the film tentatively anticipated for release around 2027 following creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris confirming the show's return.
• The new instalment serves as a follow-up to The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) and The Inbetweeners 2 (2014), which combined grossed more than £100m worldwide, though it remains unconfirmed if original co-star Emily Atack will return.
• Bye, who hosts the podcast Relatively alongside her sister Madeline, has previously featured in Prime Video's hit series The Girlfriend as well as minor roles in Wonka and Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
