The annual Investiture Ceremony was organised with enthusiasm, pride and dignity at Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2, Mohali, to confer responsibilities upon the newly elected members of the Student Council. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Founder Director-Principal Ranjeet Bedi. Students presented colourful cultural performances, including a march past by all four houses, an inspiring skit highlighting responsibility and teamwork, and a patriotic musical presentation that evoked the spirit of leadership and optimism. During the ceremony, the elected office-bearers were adorned with badges and sashes. Ryan Kuttan was appointed Head Boy and Angel Parmar Head Girl. Sports Captains, Discipline Captains, Cultural Captains, as well as House Captains and Vice-Captains, were also formally entrusted with their responsibilities. All newly elected leaders took a solemn oath to discharge their duties with honesty, sincerity and dedication. Addressing the students, Ranjeet Bedi said, “Leadership does not mean merely commanding others, but setting an example for everyone through confidence, honesty, and responsibility. The young leaders elected today are the future guides of our nation. I am fully confident that they will uphold the ideals of the school.” Chairman JS Bedi congratulated the elected students, their parents and teachers. The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.
