Kota Kinabalu: Jetama Sdn Bhd (JETAMA) together with its subsidiaries Jetama Water Sdn Bhd (JWSB) and Jetama Energy Sdn Bhd (JESB) participated in the Sabah International Expo 2026 (SIE2026) which was held from 4 to 6 September 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).
SIE2026 was officially opened by YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, Deputy Chief Minister III of Sabah cum Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport (MINDET) Sabah on the 4 September 2026.

As one of Sabah’s key business and trade platforms, SIE2026 has attracted participation from 15 countries and features 300 exhibition booths, with approximately 35 per cent involving international exhibitors.
The three-day event is targeting up to RM10 million in sales and business transactions and is expected to attract approximately 10,000 trade visitors, delegates, participants and members of the public.
Participating countries include Australia, Brunei, China, Denmark, Finland, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Thailand and Zambia, alongside participation from the wider BIMP-EAGA region.

“This international participation is a strong indicator of the increasing interest in Sabah as a destination for trade, investment and business collaboration.”SIE2026 also places emphasis on regional cooperation through the 3rd BIMP-EAGA Halal Trade, Investment and Industry Conference, which brings together approximately 300 delegates.

Through the participation in SIE2026, a wide platform for JETAMA to strengthen the industry networks, explore potential collaborations and engage with stakeholders as Sabah positions itself as a gateway to Borneo and the wider BIMP-EAGA market.
