Aston Villa are looking to complete an attacking signing for coach Unai Emery.
Jhon Duran was due to arrive in England on Wednesday to undergo a medical.
Per the Express and Star, Duran will then sign a contract to complete his £14.75 million move to Villa.
The 19-year-old is at the Under-20 Championship in South America.
It was initially expected that he would undergo a medical in Colombia, but he is now traveling to England.
The Colombian FA confirmed that Duran is heading to England, but that he will come back for the tournament.
He is set to seal a move from Chicago Fire to the Premier League club.
