
Students across the district were seen in a jubilant mood after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class XII examination results on Wednesday. Students in various schools distribute sweets and congratulated each other on their success in the examinations.
However, till the filing of the report, no official district topper had been declared. Despite this, several schools claimed that their results remained among the best in the district and many of their students had secured outstanding marks.
Dyal Singh Public School main branch achieved a cent per cent result. In the commerce stream, Kashvi secured the highest position in the school with 99 per cent marks, while in the medical stream Aastha Bangar bagged the first position with 97 per cent marks, in the non-medical stream Shivam Uppal delivered an outstanding performance with 95 per cent marks and in the humanities stream Mahak secured the top position with 93.8 per cent marks.
School Principal Sushma Devgan and headmistress Priya Kapoor congratulated all students, parents and teachers on their remarkable achievement.
Similarly, students of Dyal Singh Public School, Sector 7, displayed exceptional academic excellence. Tushika secured the first position in the school by scoring an impressive 96.6 per cent in the commerce stream. Saryu secured the second position with 95.8 per cent in humanities, while Tisha bagged the third position by scoring 94.6 per cent in commerce. Expressing her happiness, Principal Shalini Narang said, “This excellent result is the outcome of the hard work of our students, dedication of our teachers and the continuous support of parents. Our students have proved that sincerity, discipline and perseverance always lead to success. We are proud of their achievements and wish them a bright and successful future ahead.”
Students of Pratap Public School, Jarnailly Colony, delivered outstanding performance. Chairman of the school management committee, Ajay Bhatia, expressed happiness and wished students a bright future.
Principal Dr Tulika Gupta said Tanushi secured the first position in the school with 98 per cent marks, Yuvansh Chauhan stood second with 96.8 per cent marks and Piyush got third position with 96.4 per cent marks.
Students of OPS Vidya Mandir School delivered an excellent performance in the Class XII board examination results. In the commerce stream, Tamanna secured the first position, while in the non-medical stream, Vansh brought laurels to the school by scoring 95.8 per cent marks in the medical stream. Arya Mittal performed well by scoring 96.4 per cent marks and in the arts stream Vaishnavi and Aarti made the school proud by securing 95 per cent marks.
The Century School, Gharaunda, celebrated the exceptional performance of its students. In medical stream Lakshay Kalyan topped with 474 marks (94.8 per cent) and Siya led the arts stream with 460 marks (92 per cent).
