The Princess of Wales’s Wimbledon conversation was captured on a hot mic, revealing her reflecting on her Three Peaks challenge and how she prepared for the adventure.
In a clip shared by the tennis tournament on Wednesday (8 July) as part of its “Overheard at Wimbledon” series, Kate spoke candidly about completing the challenge in 24 hours.
She said: "I did it in 24 hours, that was the challenge anyway. But I think part of the journey was trying to enjoy the process, the training beforehand, but also making the time during the walk, to meet people and enjoy the journey rather than just quickly getting to the top."
She also recalled the “atrocious” weather during her adventure.
Kate was speaking with British former tennis player Tim Henman as they watched the action on Court 18 between Arthur Fery of Great Britain and Otto Virtanen of Finland on day four of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.
The hidden mic was for the “Overheard at Wimbledon” series, capturing candid conversations between the spectators.
