
TAWAU: The Tawau Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) rescued a girl who was locked in a car for about 15 minutes at Kg Airport Lama, here, on Tuesday.
Its Chief, Jemishin Ujin, said the one-year and eight-month-old child was removed from the Proton Saga after the door was opened using special equipment.

He said, six firemen on a fire engine were deployed to the scene after receiving the emergency call at 6.49am via MERS999.
