MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle Lady Spikers blanked the FEU Lady Tamaraws, 25-19, 25-14, 27-25, at the Mall of Asia Arena Saturday to start their UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball campaign on a high note.
La Salle saved two set points in a 5-1 run finished by back-to-back hits by Shevana Laput who fired 23 points to lead all scorers.
Laput added five excellent digs to her name, while Angel Canino aided her with 15 points, four receptions, and three digs.
Gerzel Petallo racked up 11 points to pace FEU.
