
KOTA KINABALU: The following is the unofficial results of the 17th Sabah state election according to the political parties that contested in the election today.
A total of 73 state seats were contested in this election, and any party or coalition of parties that obtained a simple majority of 37 seats may form the state government.
Based on unofficial results, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) won 29 seats, followed by Warisan (23), Barisan Nasional (BN) (8), Upko (3), Star (2), KDM (1), Perikatan Nasional (1), Pakatan Harapan (1) and Independents (5).
