With an aim to reviewing the ongoing Digital Census-2027 work in the city, a delegation of Government of India (GoI) officials led by Joint Director (Census) Ramesh Kumar and Deputy Director (Census), Punjab, Ruchi Gupta concluded their two-day visit to the city on Tuesday.
During the visit, the officials conducted field inspections, held meetings with supervisors and interacted with the enumerators in different parts of the city. A meeting was also held with the Census charge officers under the chairmanship of MC Commissioner at the MC Zone-D office in Sarabha Nagar on Tuesday.
Showing satisfaction over the ongoing work, the delegation issued directions to speed up the work. They also took feedback from the enumerators and supervisors.
