A low-pressure area (LPA) over the coastal waters of Rapu-Rapu, Albay, and the easterlies would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain to most parts of Luzon, state weather agency Pagasa said before dawn Wednesday.
In its 4 a.m. weather advisory, Pagasa said Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque will have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the LPA.
In Northern Luzon, Cagayan Valley and Isabela will have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly to mostly cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
According to Pagasa, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa warned of flash floods or landslides in areas experiencing moderate to sometimes heavy rain. TMT
