Macau turned things around behind a massive third quarter effort to beat Terrafirma, 96-92, and register back-to-back wins in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup on Wednesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Import Da’Vondre Perry and Damian Chongqui came out with big numbers to steer the wheel for the Giant Pandas, who overhauled a 15-point, first-half deficit en route to their second straight win after a 0-4 start.
Terrafirma dropped to 2-4.
Perry finished with 34 points and 12 rebounds, while Chongqui had 29 for the foreign guest squad.
Kobey Lam added 12 for Macau, which turned things around behind a 29-14 third quarter exchange.
Justin Strings led the Dyip with 34 points and eight rebounds, while Maverick Ahanmisi collected 20 points, nine boards and eight assists
