MANILA, Philippines—A nationwide survey has revealed that most Filipinos trust the government to solve the country’s problems.

The independent Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey, conducted by Octa Research from December 3 to 11, 2025, found that 55 percent of adult Filipinos said that they trust the government to effectively address national issues. Only 20 percent disagree, while 25 percent are undecided.

This trust varies by region, with the Visayas showing the highest confidence at 68 percent, followed by Mindanao (58 percent), and Balance Luzon and the National Capital Region both at 49 percent.

Across socioeconomic classes, trust remains consistently above 50 percent, peaking at 56 percent among the Class E or poorest respondents.

The survey involved face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adult Filipinos and has a margin of error of ±3 percent for national estimates and ±6 percent for subnational estimates.
