Oh, my. I can't help but marvel at the dramatic twists and turns of local Malay politics! It's almost as entertaining as a Greek tragedy.

I mean, who would've thought that PAS would welcome Shahidan Kassim and Annuar Musa with open arms, even though they were once their arch-enemies?

It's like trying to equate their entry into PAS to the Trojan Horse story – a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

Picture this: Shahidan Kassim, in his days as Perlis menteri besar, aiming at turning those paddy fields blue, and Annuar Musa, involved in all sorts of royal escapades.

The only thing missing was a quest for the mythical Helen of Troy. Perhaps they were searching for a legendary Quranic text hidden in Kelantan?

And the concerns about party secrets leaking? PAS doesn't have secrets; their guiding light is the Quran, Sunnah, Ijmak, and Qias. They've got a squad of scholars to keep them on the straight and narrow. No need for secret handshakes or underground bunkers, folks!

PAS President Hadi Awang is just chilling, reminding everyone that if you were an expert in your "jahiliyyah," you'll get a matching role when you join the Islamic congregation.

I guess that means Shahidan is in charge of turning the paddy fields green again?

But here's the real comedy – the fear of losing power. PAS isn't afraid, they're all about those righteous duties.

Meanwhile, those who oppose PAS are trembling at the thought of former enemies joining their ranks. It's like high school drama, but with more religious hype and fewer prima donnas or better yet, prom queens.

And then there's the epic tale of Khairuddin at-Takiri and Nakhaei Ahmad, former PAS leaders turned UMNO cheerleaders. They'll never be trusted because UMNO's struggle is all about positions and wealth.

I mean, you wouldn't want a Trojan Horse in your stables, would you? It might steal your golden chariots away.

In the end, the political theater continues, and PAS seems unshaken by Trojan horses or tales of betrayal.

Who needs Greek mythology when you've got Malaysian politics to entertain you? It's even better than Netflix.
