SHAH ALAM – Malaysia records 4,334 new Covid-19 cases and 10 fatalities in the last 24 hours.

Out of the cases recorded, 4,328 were local cases while six cases were imported.

In the last 24 hours, 10 deaths were reported with one brought-in-dead (BID) case.

Since the pandemic began, Malaysia has had a total of 4,694,507 Covid-19 cases which had claimed the lives of 36,080 people.

The number of active cases stood at 44,617 with 96.2 per cent or 42,926 individuals quarantined at home.

There were 1,595 hospitalised patients with 24 in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 44 required ventilation support.
