KOTA KINABALU: The Fire and Rescue Department managed to talk a 38-year-old man out of leaping from the fifth floor of a shopping mall in Inanam, here, Sunday.
An agency spokesperson said eight Lintas Fire and Rescue Station personnel responded to the 3.16pm distress call.
“The victim’s family members were also at the scene. He was later handed over to the Police for further course of action.
“Operations ended at 3.55pm,” they said.
