MANILA, Philippines —The Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) issued several road closures in the city for a marahton event on May 9.
In a Facebook post, the MPIO said the road closures for the Popeye run would start at 2 a.m. on Saturday, which will cover the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to P. Ocampo Street, the westbound lane of Quirino Avenue from Adriatico Street to Roxas Boulevard, P. Burgos Avenue (southbound) at the corner of Victoria Street, and the westbound lane of Finance Road from P. Burgos Avenue to Taft Avenue.
The MPIO urged motorists to take alternate routes.
