MANILA, Philippines—President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to welcome Polish President Karol Nawrocki who will be in a state visit to Manila from Oct. 5 to 8, 2026 — the first-ever by a Polish leader.
In a statement on Friday, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said the two leaders would tackle expanding cooperation on defense and security, trade and investment, agriculture, science and technology, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and legal cooperation, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
“The visit builds on recent progress in bilateral relations, following the inaugural meeting of the Philippines-Poland Joint Defense Cooperation Committee in Warsaw in July 2026, and the 7th Philippines-Poland Political Consultations in Manila in September 2026,” according to the statement.
